SPECIAL RECOGNITION
WHAT THEY SAY
“D’Agnese recapitulates the progression in style from Gauguin’s Post Impressionism to Matisse’s early Fauvism. It is perhaps unfair to compare D’Agnese to a pair of the most influential modern masters, for her work has more brio than essence. Still, at best, it shares one quality which contributes to their greatness, and that is vitality.”

Helen D’Agnese’s work are all beautiful; she needs no signature for her work; they are so original.”
-- Michael Engel, New York Art Critic.
“Helen D’Agnese is a modern primitive painter of unlimited scope in imagination, color, design, and concept. Her work is brilliant and exciting and each painting tells its own dramatic story.”
-- Fainta Lanier, Artist, Illustrator and Writer, Dallas, Texas.
“Her works show intuitiveness and naiveness – a rare quality in our complex world. She has captured the grace and character of her subjects with great imagination.”
-- Maria de Noronha, Internationally Acclaimed Artist and Art Critic, Atlanta Georgia.
